Ghost of a Chance (Ep45)

Jessica arrives at the Cabot Cove library to chaperone a ghost stories reading for children. Although, she didn't count on falling in love with the narrator. Batting her lashes at the 60-something gentleman, her alluring charm seduces him to join her behind the reference section during the break. The kids are left unattended while her decimal system gets "Dewey".

When they return all the kids are lifeless, covered in green ectoplasm.

Menace Anyone? (Ep38)

Jessica is honorary chairperson at a charity tennis tournament where she gets reacquainted with cigarettes. After a night of heavy drinking and smoking, two murders take place, and Jessica has to sift through a maze of clues to find the truth and clear an innocent woman.

Crunchy.

The Body Politic (Ep28)

Jessica becomes entangled in european politics when she comes to the aid of yet another dear old friend running as a political candidate. When the candidate's campaign manager is murdered, Jessica must help prove her innocence.

Jessica reminisces about one of her first cases where she masqueraded as a goth widow in an old English castle in an effort to trap the murderer of her good friend.

Tough Guys Don't Die (Ep24)

As a attempt to prevent herself from going stir-crazy, Jessica leaves her latest novel incomplete to speak at an exclusive men's club. This way she gets out of the house AND gets a chance to score.

The men, although not her usual type, stir a fire within her. She becomes completely enamoured with one specific gentleman and invites him out for a drink later that night. But as Jessica's luck would have it, he is murdered before she can even get him up to her room. Being the only 'tail' at the club, everyone immediately becomes a suspect.

Mayhem ensues.

With no murders to solve in Cabot Cove, Jessica becomes very bored — The Internet can only be interesting for so long. Looking towards phone tapping as a new creative outlet, she overhears a telephone conversation between two men who are plotting a murder.

Will she try to stop them? Or will she wait until a body drops?

Times are hard in Cabots Cove. It's just another "Case of the Mondays" for Jessica Fletcher. Oozing with laziness in the new year (and a potential sinus infection), episode seven sees our heroine take some LSD and embark on a psychedelic journey.
