Double Exposure (Ep105)

Jessica is dumbfounded when she encounters a man who looks like Harry, sounds like Harry, even smells like Harry. But, where is she and what is happening?

"I'll help you find a way out of here," he says. "Follow me."

Shocked, Jessica quietly agrees, allowing him to slide his arm around her waist, guiding her towards the city lights not too far off in the distance.

She fails to notice the lifeless body lying in the darkness from where "Harry" emerged.

Gotta keep going.

Trials and Tribulations Pt.2 (Ep104)

Jessica presses on through the forest toward the distant city lights. Her surroundings feel unexplainably alive and unwelcoming. Whatever it is following her is getting closer, the sound of breaking twigs is growing louder. She picks up her pace.

From ahead, a familiar voice coming from the darkness calls to her, "I can help you."

Although it is still fairly dark, she can make out a male shape. He steps forward and in the moonlight she realizes why the voice sounded so familiar...

It's Harry.

Trials and Tribulations pt1 (Ep102)

Jessica opens her eyes. It's nighttime and it's cold.
She's standing in a furcoat in an unknown clearing of land, surrounded by trees.

Far up ahead she can make out the lights of a sprawling city, obscured by the heavy snowfall and dense foliage.
Behind her in the woods she can sense something sinister - and although she doesn't want to - her wild curiosity forces her to turn around. She can see her footsteps emerging from the trees to where she now stands, the snow prints stained with blood.

Jess examines herself to check for wounds and finds nothing. As she puts her hands into the pockets of her jacket, she feels something slice the fatty part of her palm. Carefully she pulls out a bloody scapel. She stares at it for awhile, wondering what's happened, where she is, what she might have done... then drops it into the snow.

She turns toward the city and begins to walk into the woods.

Jessica Fletcher Died Here... Possibly (Ep101)

Suddenly it's very cold. Jessica feels herself being drawn upward... weightless. She looks down and sees Harry, slumped on the floor holding her body sobbing. Her bedroom is covered with broken glass, turned over chairs and the blooding remains of her murderer...

Higher up now...
She can see the outside of her house and the crowd of neighbours gathered outside her front gate, most likely alarmed by the shots... in the distance police cars and an ambulance speed through the streets of Cabot Cove towards her house.

As she moves higher, she can see the entire city where she's spent most of her life. There is no sense of sadness, she feels satisfied with the life she's lead and the number of murders she's helped to solve. Her only regret is the way she left matters with Harry. But it's too late now...

She turns her head upwards...

forward...

...toward the warm and welcoming light.

Jessica wakes in her bathroom tub. The water is very cold, with melting ice cubes in it. She can't move and she can't speak, but she doesn't panic.

Driving away from Jessica's house, Harry reflects on his date. He thinks it went well, but is puzzled why didn't she invite him inside?

Something Borrowed, Someone Blue (Ep98)

It's still humid. Jessica is outside on her balcony cooling off when her doorbell rings. She covers herself quickly with a robe and runs downstairs to greet her visitor, hoping it's her date from earlier in the evening. Opening the door she is greeted instead by her mysterious new neighbor who asks to borrow a cup of sugar. Jessica, puzzled by the current circumstances of his request, pauses to think of a polite response.

A gun shot goes off next door, startling both of them. The man takes advantage of her shocked state and pushes himself into the house and onto her. A struggle ensues. His hands creeping around her neck.

If bein' afraid is a crime, we hang side by side.

The Survivor (Ep97)

Jessica becomes an inadvertent target when she starts dating an undercover cop.

Returning home from a delicious dinner date at Dixon's Diner, she enters her house and immediately begins to undress. The humidity in Cabot Cove is unbearable. Jessica takes off her flesh coloured pantyhose and steps outside on her back balcony, hoping for a breeze to caress her naked skin. Italodisco streams from an internet radio broadcast and she begins to slow dance in the moonlight. Jessica doesn't notice that she's being secretly watched by her new neighbours... and her soon-to-be assailants.

Weave a Tangled Web (Ep92)

A visit to a local farm goes terribly sour for a certain pig named Wilbur. Jessica, unable to crack this case on her own, enlists Deputy Andy and the Cabot Cove CSI team to help patrol the area, and to get to the bottom of this most baffling case.

As the guests begin to slouch in their chairs, through half open eyes, Jessica watches her whole life unravel and finds herself unable to stop what is about to happen.

No clowning around for Jessica when she finds herself a prime suspect in the murder of the local circus ringmaster, William.

Hoping to make the world go away Jessica seeks solitude in William's arms and finds herself falling for him. But word on the street has it that's William's knocked up many of the town's woman simultaneously. Jessica overhears women discussing it in the Cabot Cove beauty parlor. "I don't know", she says to herself, "I feel love... i'm thinking of... I reckon I'm just longing for lullabies."

Last seen together watching Twilight at the AMC downtown, she notices him bleeding when the credits start rolling. The fingers point to her.
